Information Technology Exchange

ITE is a 501(C)3 Non Profit organization whose purpose is to increase technology access, support and literacy.

We partner with businesses, non-profits, educators, and workforce developers to fulfill our purpose through a variety of programs:

How we fulfil our mission:

  • The PCs for MAINE Project - provides families and individuals with specific academic or career development goals with high quality personal computers, training and technical support for the lowest possible cost;
  • Non Profit Technology Resources - A comprehensive resource of technology tailored to suit non profit organizations;
  • PC MEDIX - Complete computer sales and services for the general public. This program fulfills our mission to the general public while generating funds needed to sustain ITE operating and development costs;
  • eWaste Alternatives - Developed in partnership between ITE and Skills Inc (a Waterville, Maine non-profit), this program creates work opportunities for people with disabilities, provides businesses with a cost alternative to expensive and destructive recycling, and recovers reusable technology needed by our programs.
